Ken N. was Tom's choice over Kalani but he insisted on the triple option. That's changed now that he's at San Jose State.

The other names mentioned have FAR more coaching experience in their careers than Kalani had when he was hired in 2016.

The scarcity mindset needs to end. Tom has options.
