Seems like a pretty good racket. Windshield cracks. Leave it that way for 5-6 weeks. In the meantime, rent the vehicle to 5-10 people and charge each of them an extra $400 to replace the windshield.

Avis screwed me for bringing the car back 15 minutes later than I put in the reservation. I won't use them again.

That's the last reason I would stop using a rental company. You're contracted to bring it back by a certain time.

Avis charged me for fuel even though I returned it full. Had to fight it.
