Best all season snow tire is the Michelin Cross climate 2 tires.
They are 3 peak snow rated and on a front wheel drive car do very well in snow. I live in a very snowy area and drive my car with these tires up to the resorts often. But a rear wheel drive car will struggle no matter what.

Get a CB person to go buy new tires and give them the ‘opportunity’ to drive the car to Cedar to break them in
