They say Chris is a wonderful guy and a good coach. I would say he’s way down the list on this staff in resume and national credibility. However locally and for BYU’s unique culture…I can see his value.
Many wanted Chris for head coach….I am glad he’s not for a variety of reasons.
It takes a lot of ———- (fill in the blank)….to offer your nephew. Hope the local kid develops….in reality our roster will need some good locals in the mix.
I realize they can’t all be 5 stars.
If one of Kilani’s assistants nephews was offered….there would be scrutiny. This basketball staff has green light… likely for good reason.
This staff has not been hanging out in Orem. Maybe they threw Chris a bone for bringing in KK….that’s probably ok
