What would you do in this situation? Avis sent me a latter telling me I caused
$1000 in damage to a vehicle I rented from them back in October 2022 in Tampa.
I have no idea what kind of damage they are referring to. I returned the vehicle exactly how I found it.
Would you just pay it, or would you call Visa (I used my Citi Costco Visa to rent the car) and have them take care of it? Or would you let it go to collections and then offer to pay $0.10 on the dollar?
This is the 2nd issue I’ve had with stupid Avis in the last two years. I’m done renting with them. Never again.
