If you are going to 'wire' the house make sure you have a say in where the jacks end up. My daughter's builder put RJ45 jacks about 5' up on the walls for TV's.. but didn't do sunken outlets. IMHO, they should have done a recessed outlet for the TV, and a tube down the wall for any network/connections.
My daughter has her Apple TV cable still showing going up to the TV... and her TV sticks out about 3" from the wall.
In all of the room the RJ45 jacks are in horrible locations... no thought was put into where they went.
IMHO.. Most people will just use a mesh WIFI system, and you only need a wired backbone from some key locations/floors. But if you are going to do it, make sure you think about where they will go.
AND if you want a frame/flush TV... recessed outlets and run the data cables through the wall.
