If he is thinking about going to college in the future this is a good option.

I spent four years in the military after my mission, developed a better work ethic and the GI bill paid for 100% tuition/fees, and also gave me a decent monthly stipend.

If I didn’t want to college after 4 years then I had the option to find a decent paying job as a technician.
