Blue Ridge All-American
For our backpacker this year, we bought Knorr pastas from Walmart ($1.28) and
Pork or chicken packets ($1.50) as the main meal, and each person brought their own hiking stove and gas. We did a variety of the Knorr packets so there was a mix. It was good and easy to make.

For breakfast, we did protein enriched oatmeal and hot chocolate packets, lunch was peanut butter packets ($3 for 11 servings) and honey sticks and tortillas, and then trail food, dried fruit and jerky. We tried to aim for 3000 calories per day per person.
