Madrid was our least favorite place to visit out of all those I'd say. And also, what time of year are you going? Gets pretty hot. The Basque region is also pretty cool place (specifically San Sebastian).

So I had a similar plan like your chatgpt plan. I told my friend who had been there a ton. He said throw it away and do one of the Caminos. So we did a good chunk of the Camino del Norte starting at San Sebastian. It was my favorite family trip ever. We will never forget exploring the north on foot and meeting people from all over the world and eating the most amazing food I've ever had. It's ruined me from vacationing any other way.
