The problem i had with my Ooni Karu was keeping a good temperature in Winter/Wind. I ended up giving to a neighbor and getting the Pi Prime.

1) It holds its temperature better due to its insulation (you can touch the sides while it's on).

2) Its a better size & shape. I have the rolling stand for it and at just 18"x18" it just rolls/tucks out of the way in a corner for storage. We use it more because it's so easy roll out, cook on, roll back.

3) Gets hotter faster.

All ovens in the 12" - 16" range are going to have weird temp quirks.. But the Pi Prime temp dial works great. Once you've used it a few times you can get a constant cook on the crust (i posted a picture above).

Its on sale all the time for $300... at that price, it's an easy purchase. The rolling stand is like $175. I got mine this past Christmas on sale for $250... at that price it can't be beat 🙂

We are in the process of re-doing our deck. My wife wants to upgrade to the Gozney Dome... I just have to find a place for it (it can't be rolled into a corner like the Pi Prime can).
