I have no idea what the rules are around this, but now I am curious. Clearly, he is outside the line. Does that
constitute "leaving the pitch", or do you have to go further away from the out-of-bounds line?
Has a player "left the pitch" when he lines up to kick a corner kick or to inbounds a ball?
Is that different because it is clearly sanctioned by the referee/side judge (I don't even know what the officials watching for out of bounds are called)?
Should that play have been disallowed?
