Thing if you are a player. Fans don’t play the game. Our expectations have almost zero influence on what actually happens on the field or court. Be negative or be positive. It’s just that a lot of people get sick of hearing the people that are down on the team. It’s one thing to be realistic but to be running around saying the sky is falling is hard for some people to listen to. I think the football team will struggle again this year. I thought they would struggle for 3 or 4 years coming in to the big 12. I hope they can get bowl eligible.
I also don’t think this is the worst team ever and there is no talent. Our QB is unproven at the D1 level but Retzlaff dominated the JC ranks. You don’t do that if you don’t have talent. That doesn’t mean he will put it all together but I shure hope he does.
