annoying. It goes like this:

1 Group of overly optimistic fans drink way too much of the kool aid.

2. Team doesn’t meet the high end of the group’s expectations.

3. Group becomes depressed and enraged.

4. Group whines nonstop about how the world is ending, BYU will never be good again.

5. Group searches for any answer as to why they were wrong and will accept anything other than their expectations weren’t realistic and didn’t account for a number of things.

6. Many in the group settle on character flaws among coaches and players and get hypercritical and personal of those coaches and players.

7. I wish the group would spare us all the weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.
