It's not unheard of for players to take a big leap from year 1 to year 2 but
that is basically what is needed here. He needs to grow a lot.
Something that may hold hope is he was kind of thrown to the wolves. That was a pretty tough four game stretch with no easy defenses to go against (and Oklahoma and Iowa State had really good defenses last year). Some uptick in accuracy and eliminating the fumbles will do wonders.
