I've found for polls you need a throwaway option for certain fans

There are fans who believe with all their hearts that predicting anything other than #1 for BYU is a complete betrayal. If you ask them where BYU football will finish this season, they will also vote #1. Or anything else

So to weed those out who will ALWAYS bite the best you need to throw in some option like "#1 in the conference AND #1 in the country as the first undefeated national champion"
