I initially had the same thought about Qimir. Seems a bit too obvious, but at the same time, the show has illustrated that it doesn’t have a ton of depth.

I’d love it if it were setting up a Tenerbrous, Plagueis thing, but I’m not confident in that.

If it isn’t Qimir, I’m thinking it’s more of a fallen Jedi situation like you suggested.
