I'd be interested to see if anyone here found a wife in their 40s. Did she come in through friends, apps, other? I get that this question won't apply to nearly everyone on here, but maybe you have some insight nonetheless (or at least some high-quality jabs).
There's a looooong prequel (marriage, kids, divorce, apostasy, late-in-life "adolescence"), but: I broke up with my GF of 4 years (was supposed to just be a covid relationship). She was too young, and we developed different values based on the fact that I am returning to the church.
But now I'm in my 40s. I don't seem to have a hard time attracting the wrong kind of woman, but I'm serious about meeting the last woman I'll ever be with. LDS singles wards (especially at my age) don't seem to be my scene. Mutual, the app, is decent but the women are in UT, not LV. Also, I'm not fully back in the church.
I know some solutions to a lot of this (get back in the church, clean up a lot, put the word out to friends, consider long-distance relationship, move to South America hahaha), but I also would be interested to see if someone has gone through something similar. I can't be the only one.
