a better term-- up until the actual coaching change, and they didn't really abandon their support of Tuiaki/Lamb until details came out afterwards about just how bad things were on the inside (such as declining to even try to recruit anybody with a P5 offer). Hindsight is 20/20, as they say, but I seem to recall at the time that there was a surprisingly high number who defended him to the end.
