Not sure if it was you or another CB poster, but by the time an EV in the US
has hit about 30,000 mi, it has made up for any extra environmental impact.
So as long as you're not scrapping the EV after 30,000 miles, it's a net positive impact thereafter.

Used model 3 long ranges are in the mid $20k's.. + $4k fed rebate.. what you save in gas covers the payment.

This was a concern for EVs built 15 years ago but batteries now last 300k-500k

Yup.. and replacement costs have plummeted. You'll replace an ICE engine before an EV battery.
