Philly would like a word… and I say that as a homeowner in the city.
Trash gets picked up once a week. So the sidewalks essentially get bags of trash left in piles waiting for pickup.

Anytime I'm there in the summer. Smells like hot garbage. Seriously, leaving all your trash containers outside

It was fun to visit but I had my head on a swivel every time we rode the subway and in Central Park. Saw some crazies..
