Her parents bought one years ago. We’ve enjoyed it…personally…I kinda thought it was dumb. The place they bought it was nice…but for what they pay I could just rent a room there for a week and get room cleaning service (only hotel guests get it…if you have a time share it’s like $50 day extra).

We have used it with them and it’s been nice. But it was always kind of a hassle as my mother in law and wife would figure out when to go and my wife would just say “book whenever you want and we will go if we can…but we don’t know what the kids have 13 months in advance (which is when you have to book or it fills up.)

Now, MIL has passed. Almost a year ago. Been really hard on my wife and her dad. And the Marriott time share has become the Bain of their existence.

He has no idea how to book it. MIL always did it and she was good at it. There are points and weeks, and points can only be used on odd days when it is a full moon, and weeks can be used when Jupiter is in the northeasterly quadrant in the sky etc…

So now FIL wants my wife to handle. She does not want to handle. She has no information on how or where to book, when to book…Marriott won’t give her information because they only will talk to owner…and he doesn’t want to call and it has just become a big old issue.

Wish they could just get rid of it.
