That is the real question with the 12-team playoff.
Including FIVE conference winners is a HUGE step forward, no question about that. But over the first 2-3 years where will the other 7 teams come from? Will those selections be real (i.e. based on that years teams and their performance), or will it be blatantly biased? We shall see.
