Sometimes dentists might be more aggressive because they've been seeing cavities all day, and that same dentist might be more conservative the next week because they're so backed up with treatment that they want to keep an eye on things rather than treat. Just because you had two cavities doesn't mean your dentist was crooked or unethical. You may have genuinely had two cavities.
