If you're looking at his weaknesses (mediocre recruiter, poor time management, Xs and Os) and strengths (enthusiasm, great off-field representative, temple recommend holder), it makes me wonder if we shouldn't just go all in next time on those things.
Hire some enthusiastic, personable, temple-recommend holding HS coach for $500k. And then give him a $3M+ Coordinator/AHC who doesn't have to be LDS. Let the other guy run the program and just use an LDS guy as the figurehead.
Not sure it makes sense, but it's a way around the LDS head coach (near-) requirement
