You got what you paid for every year that you paid for it. You weren’t cheated. You’ll get what you pay for this year.
You’re still not being cheated.
You just want more for less than market value this year. That’s not how it should work.
Pay for what you want, or accept that it should go to the person willing to pay more.
It’s not unfair to anyone who already got what they paid for every year, and more importantly, it’s what’s best for the program.
We still have a long way to go in funding things we should if we want to be competitive at this level.
