I think if you put yourself in the guy’s shoes who currently does donate and is
sitting 30 rows above you tucked away in the corner you’d have a different perspective.
And to address your question about B12 revenues supposedly being able to offset this: the cost to compete in a P4 conference is much higher than languishing in the MWC or independence.
One thing I do think they could have done instead of reseating is give everyone an opportunity to retain their seat by joining the CC at a specified level based on the quality of the seats. Essentially institute a renewable annual seat license. I think a lot of people would have ponied up and been less upset if BYU had come out and told them what it would take to hold on to their same seats
