I'm not sure why yourself and Tokolosh have been so staunchly denying that is what happened in the "infamous" interview. Your defense is that Whitt just meant cfb is influx at the moment and nothing is permanent. We can all agree that's true but you'd have to really have your head in the sand to think that's all he meant.

He was clearly implying that within 2-3 maybe 5 years his team would be moving on to bigger things and leaving BYU and the dregs of the Big12 behind. He's a tool and he's probably just saying what his fans want to hear but to BYU and the Big12 fans he's insulting it doesn't come across well.
