1. She seems to love her some attention.
Has a track record, and a pretty successful one, of grabbing the spotlight. Often with a “did not wanna draw attention to myself BUT” approach.
Does not mean she is lying or exaggerating. Or that she is not. It does make me not want to watch or listen to her.
2. At least as annoyed that BYU has consistently put itself in these situations. And that its behavior has been at times, far from blameless. The snippets of her story shared here seem like Jim McMahon 2.0 on steroids. BYU comes off as skulking, absurd or worse in trying to maintain its desired image as it deals with a star athlete’s honor code indiscretions— or in McMahons case, wanton and open disregard for said code.
It never had to be like this— for student athletes, regular students, or anyone else associated with the school.
