You see Cougarboard members putting Big12 stickers on their vehicles and erecting "Welcome to Big12 Country" billboards?
Isn't it rather impossible for you to know what cougarboard members are pasting and erecting, and has anyone actually seen this among the fan base at large?
On the first point, isn't it perfectly reasonable to want to cheer for the conference we're joining in July to be strong? It's different than yewts gushing about the PAC12 - the flavor of their doing it was a "gotcha" to BYU - "see, you got rejected, haha." I see BYU fans cheering for the Big12 because we are licking our chops at joining a conference known as a serious contender with actual strength of schedule.
We're not rubbing Big12 inclusion in yewts' faces - they themselves insist they're perfectly happy not coming. BYU wanted in a P5 conference and yewts went absolutely berserk when the PAC reach down and picked little bro. But that's not what's happening here. Yewts' identity is now so inextricably connected with the PAC that they will be the last rat on that sinking ship and we are just happy to let them be.
More likely scenario scrolling through your posting history - you wanted to lecture someone on something.
Go Big12. I want to join a strong league. Seems like appropriate fan behavior to me. Sue me.
