WCC. That's a fact. There were several years where we ranked between #150 and #200 nationally. It's a fact that BYU's recruiting dropped off dramatically in the WCC. Other than the two top 50 classes with legacy kids and Utah County players who were always going to play for BYU, there was no draw to BYU for recruits playing in a conference where EVERY SINGLE OTHER TEAM is outside the geographical footprint and minds and thoughts of people in the intermountain west.
