In a way everyone loses

The sport is ostensibly a physical battle of strength and dexterity within fixed guidelines and rules, but if the outcome is determined (as it often is, or is perceived to be) by subjective officiating, then what is the point?

My commentary on it today is much broader than the last 24 hours.
