Empathy doesn’t mean supporting bad behavior. She started a debate. Now there’s a debate. In a debate, truth matters. If
it got bigger than she wanted it to, she can delete it.
No one forced her to try to call out BYU publicly and accuse them of wrongdoing, when they actually did nothing wrong.
Wasn’t smart of her to do it while she’s grieving. But that grief isn’t a pass to try to ridicule others either.
Personal attacks in response are unnecessary, but if she wants to start a public debate about this, expect smart honest people to tell her she’s wrong.
Also… when a huge portion of supporters to your post are Utes and a few overtly anti-Mormon posts, pause and reassess.
