Why CA uses “the” in freeway names, and FYI I don’t care if others think it’s
dumb or weird, that’s what literally every single person here says and if you hate it, that’s fine but it’s never ever going to change, so hate in vain.
*As a side note, despite it being the same freeway that exists in both CA and UT, I always refer to it as “the 15” while talking about the stretch of it that exists in CA, and always call it “I-15” when talking about the stretch of it in UT. The inverse of either sounds terrible in both cases.
