Couple things that I know for a fact.
BYU has been recruiting Spencer Fano hard. BYU is also been at several Timpview games this year including the game against Lehi which was the biggest 5A game in the regular season. I watch the game on TV and the cameras and the sidelines showing coaches from a bunch of schools including BYU. That game was the week before his senior night.
So does it matter that BYU coaches didn't go to his senior night game? Is that the thing that's going to make or break his recruiting?
Is everyone concerned about BYU football right now with what happened last week and the defensive problems? Of course. Does that mean the wheels have come off the program? To me that's hyperbolic.
And, just so everyone knows Timpview has played their "home" games at three different places. The district won't let them play their home games at Timpview because there's not enough parking due to the construction.
So, if you think BYU coach is not going to one game is a big deal can I guess the op is going to freak you out.
And one final thing. Remember we don't have any big 12 money yet and we have a tiny recruiting budget compared to every P5 School in the country.
