Sadly that is near impossible. But I would love to see it.
Due to Bowl contracts and the NY6 setup the following must happen
#1 - Rose/Sugar/Orange Bowl all have contracts in place that force a team from each conference, and then Orange Bowl has selection of a Big10/SEC/Notre Dame pick for the 6th team.
#2 - Fiesta/Peach bowl will take the teams ranked #1-#4, (So possible BYU could play Utah, but are the yewts actually a top 10 team, let alone a top 4 team?)
#3 - Cotton bowl - At-Large vs G5 Top Champion* So if BYU goes to the Cotton bowl, they will likely play Cinci or Houston.
* If the G5 Champion is in the CFP playoffs, then the Cotton bowl will be at-large vs at-large, so Utah could possibly play BYU in this bowl game. . . but this is VERY unlikely.
