We try really hard to explain them, but I don't think most care, to be honest.

For example, in your warning (it wasn't a 1 hour penalty), it said "When multiple categories are possible, and one is a restricted category, you are required to use the restricted category." But you still claim that "a post about work is also miscategorized in the religion category." The rules pretty clearly say where it should be categorized, if the post is about both.

Your post was pretty clearly about both - it related the topic of your EQ lesson (a talk by Elder Uchtdorf) to something at work.

Anyway, whether anybody cares or not, we have what we feel are very good reasons for the categorization rules, so we continue to enforce them.
