This is one of the many reasons I won't fly Allegiant or Spirit: really old

planes. Spirit bought planes that had been junked by other airlines in many cases.

I have no idea if the data backs my fear up, but it seems like older planes would crash more.

Edit: It looks like Spirit bought 100 brand new AirBus A320 to be delivered through 2037. So perhaps they're trying to upgrade their cattle cars.

It’s not uncommon at all for private aircraft to be that old or older.
