Sure. That is better we than gaining a linebacker coach that can't
spell Cougar Tail, but he was already here last year as a consultant. He will be allowed to do more as an actual coach, but you can't gain something you already have. Defense clearly did not lose anything. Maybe the fact that consultants are not allowed to do everything a coach does makes this a fain of sorts in defense.
Offense. Lost Grimes and Mattwos and only added 1 coach. They did add an experienced coach. But, just 1 coach and new to the staff. Offense. Definitely lost a lot. 1 less coach in total and 2 coaches worth of continuity.
Add it all up. Loss overall.
