Except BYU does not run that every play. Go watch the 1st play vs Boise State
for example - 2020 game.
4 DL. Then brought 6 to get pressure. BAM. Overcthe top for 30 yards.
You better not send 6 unless you know you can get home and not miss the tackle.
Then they went to straight up 4 DL and got the stop.
They mixed 4 DL and 3 DL all night.
BSU QB got knocked out of the game early. They kept the backup contained until it was a blowout, but in Q4, playing reserves, mistakes - broken coverage - bam - over the top for 2 quick TDs in about 5 minutes.
With base defense and starters, BSU got 3 points. Learn to appreciate that.
