Was just watching BYU UCF highlights, and I have a question for former athletes:
Let's say you're down 10-49 with eight minutes to go in the third quarter. 23 minutes of game time left. Your team is just getting pounded on both sides of the ball. The other offense is rolling over you like a Mack truck, and your guys just can't get anything going. They're whooping and hollering and having a great time, and your team is just dead. The other team's fans are going nuts, and yours are sitting on their hands.

Honestly, what is your mindset? Are you still fighting, or are you just ready to be done? How do you maintain any sort of fire?

For those of you who have been in a situation like that, what was it like? What was going through your head?
