Yeah, the Rey thing is puzzling.

Abandoned child on desert planet....nobody wants her....but she doesn't want to leave in case her parents come back.

Somehow connected to Luke Skywalker's light saber.....but no clue as to why for 2 movies now.

Somehow has a connection to Kylo Ren now.....but not really.

And yes, Finn's character is worthless.
