Hope it's true. It would be great to have a Muslim pipeline at BYU.
I don't know for sure that Amir is, or if he is that he is spiritual, but BYU seems like the best FBS school for devout Muslims. The HC is pretty similar to many standards of Islam, and parents would probably be more comfortable with them in a BYU-type environment than with the frathouse environment tons of other programs run.
BYU won't pursue it, but I can always dream.
