If that is what they are getting paid then BYU is OVER PAYING
Seriously - I have to think MWC and AAC coaching salaries are below this and their results are much better this year. Fresno, SDSU, Boise (maybe comparative).
If you don't have a winning culture then you are throwing money away.
The more I think about it, it starts with the AD. He/She sets the tone. Coaches should get paid when they WIN not because we think they will win.
The hot mess we are in now is because we have a coaching/culture mess. Not because we aren't paying them enough.
However, you can make the argument for Bronco and Lavell - totally underpaid based on performance.
