It's silly for anyone to think that Mika didn't know this was the most probable
outcome.
He is aware, I'm sure, of his strengths, limitations, scouting reports, and circumstances. When he made his decision to turn pro he probably thought.
1. If I get lucky, I'll get drafted
2. If not, I'll try summer league.
3. If I don't stick, I'll go to Italy
4. Either way, BYU is out of the picture until I earn some money and come back for my degree.
