So I've heard that NFL teams like backups that can run the same stuff the

starter does, for obvious reasons. You don't want the backup coming in for a quarter if the starter is out with a minor injury and suddenly the offense has to run entirely different sets and a whole new system.

For this reason, I am surprised Green Bay wants Taysom to fill in for Rogers at all.
