Bluedarts Walk-on
Another interesting aspect of this is that this law has made workers lazy.
My nephew had the wonderful experience of working in the Seattle area last summer after coming home from his mission. He said he would get a job, working general labor but for a government job, and there would be several other guys there with him that were just hired as well. Many would be very lazy or even simply not work because there were loopholes they were taking advantage of where they would not get fired right away and they knew they were going to get paid enough for that time to not have to work for a while after. They would make fun of him for wanting to actually work hard. He got really frustrated trying to keep a job because he would sometimes get lumped in with the other lazy workers and get blamed for work not getting done. He was not a fan of the high min wage.
