Even Kearsley and Leavitt (who have nothing to do with the rant in your OP, even though they're the only concrete examples you've cited) didn't do anything more than decide that they weren't getting the PT they thought they had earned and went elsewhere. That comes from a belief that they're better than other players that were getting PT, not from some weird idea that they're bigger or more important than BYU.
