The CFP was created by the P5 for the P5. They got everyone else to go along
by giving the highest ranked G5 champion a slot in an access bowl and by throwing a lot of money at those on the outside.
Along the way, they kicked out the BE. They negotiated the $7B+ TV contract without involving the NCAA, which gets bupkis in revenue.
