Heck, Amanda Dixon of KSL wrote about bad Utah fan behavior several years ago. You don't need it recorded. She's a U fan, so there's no reason to dismiss her observations. Also, two of my friends were in a game pic in the Chronicle back in the Buster Matheney/Judkins era. They were on the front row of a BYU-Utah game in SLC, and they were both leaning over the rail and giving double birds to a BYU player. After seeing the picture in the paper they were terrified their parents would see it!
Personally, if I was being attacked for my religion at a Utah game, the last thing I would do is try to record it. I've only been to two BYU-Utah games at the U, and there were no problems where I sat. I do remember, however, some very bad behavior by a few ute fans in two different games at the Marriott Center years ago. In both cases it was just a couple of guys seeing if they could get BYU fans riled up by outwardly disrespecting them. It kind of looked like the losers trying to provoke people waiting in line at Temple Square during General Conference weekends.
