If you are to believe the story, as presented by tonysly, there is no mention of a threat. Since last I checked, booing refs & giving candid evaluations of officiating ability is not against the law, BYU cops should just put themselves between the two parties just as in any other demonstration situation.
Also, to contend that the people got exactly what they deserved, when in fact the police themselves seemed to come to the realiztion that they did not, would seem to indicate you are no where near the right answer.
If you have an opinion as to whether or not booing is acceptabel behavior, fine, great jump into the fray.
Otherwise, go back to your deep dark corner & spare us your ill-concieved notions.
